Feedburner subscriber statistics are pulled off every few hours and have a tendancy to go up and down a bit, this service is not activated on all feeds.

Brief FAQ:

How often are the feeds updated? There's a Cron which updates and produces a cached output for the oldest feed every 4 minutes so that means with the current total of 24 feeds, it takes 96 minutes to go full circle. I may do something clever and manage the updates using item post frequency for each feed if the list becomes much bigger.

The RSS Feed items contain links which are not present in the original articles, whats going on? This is an experiment (put live on 12/04/09), the links shown are extracted from the 'Related Internet Links' section on the right hand side of articles, if a direct match is found for the text given in the side bar then a link should be inserted (once per item). The code which does this is by design very picky about doing this, so in most cases not all links and sometimes none will be inserted. This adds the context which is present on the original story, its still being tweaked but hopefully it won't break anything!

Is this affiliated with the BBC? No! As stated at the top of the page this is not in any way affiliated with the BBC, if I receive a complaint from the BBC it'll be shutdown or altered to comply.

Can you add a particular BBC feed? Yes in theory, contact me and I'll have a look.
